As David Street Community House is a 2 bedroom house situated next to Glenhaven Special Care Facility an emergency 24-hour supervision is available if necessary, providing peace of mind to residents.

Residents participate in community-based programs and are required to independently maintain their activities of daily living and perform light domestic tasks. Staff assistance is available and provided when needed, however independence is encouraged and young people must be able to complete tasks with minimal assistance.
