Program details
The Program consists of two components:
- MDA Assessment
- IDR Rehabilitation
Assessment (MDA) Services
An assessment brings together highly skilled clinical professionals with expertise in rehabilitation and in maximising opportunities for injured workers to return to work safely. The assessment takes place at the centre and also involves the worker visiting their workplace. The assessment usually takes two days to complete.
The assessment concludes with a case conference to which all relevant parties are invited to attend including the worker, the assessment team member, the treating practitioner, the employer and the agent. The aim of the case conference is to decide what rehabilitation plan will most likely result in the worker’s recovery and a safe, sustainable return to work.
