Residential Addictive Program
The residential program is a 28 day in patient program offering patients an opportunity for recovery from addiction through a range of Psycho-social education and group processes.
The objectives of the program are:
- Facilitation of behavioural change
- Establishment of a support system for a lifestyle of sobriety and freedom from addiction
- Increase self awareness, self acceptance and self respect
- Development of alternative communication styles to promote personal growth
- Development of productive alternative behaviours patterns
The Residential Program includes:
- Understanding specific needs
- Explaining principles of recovery and setting realistic goals
- Developing new skills and ways of coping
- Clients are given all the time they need to understand, accept, and put into perspective issues in their lives and develop new ways of thinking
- Motivational enhancement
- Relapse prevention techniques
