Healthscope Joins Forces with the ADF
Healthscope’s National Capital Private Hospital located in Canberra, has entered into an agreement with the Australian Defence Forces (ADF) to support the ADF Nursing Corp providing clinical currency of its personnel.
Under the terms of the agreement nurses currently serving with the army, air force or navy, or those with a reservist position can arrange clinical placement at the National Capital Private Hospital.
During the placement the ADF nurses will work across acute areas including ICU and Operating Theatres, and benefit from the opportunity to consolidate current skills, refresh on procedures not recently undertaken or learn new skills.
It is hoped that this agreement will provide a sharing of clinical expertise.
