Visitor information


Car parking is available in a visitors’ car park, which is situated at the western end of the complex.  Regular bus services operate along Dunrobin Road (route 263 Stop 34).  The nearest train station is situated at Hove.  Timetables and route details are available at reception.  Reception is also able to book or call a taxi for you if required.

Visiting hours


To accommodate family and friends, visiting hours extend from 3.00pm to 8.00pm daily.

Visitors may be required to follow certain procedures, depending on the condition of the patient.  The nursing staff will provide specific instructions for visiting these patients.  Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult when visiting the hospital.

Griffith Rehabilitation Hospital has a ‘No Smoking’ policy. However, smoking is permitted in dedicated smoking areas for patients and visitors.  The nursing staff will direct you to the dedicated smoking areas.

Animals are not permitted in the hospital but patient’s pets may be brought to the grounds if the patient’s mobility allows them to visit them in the grounds.

Mail is delivered to your room daily by our friendly administration staff.  A post box is located near the admission desk and mail is cleared daily.
