About Community Programs
Healthscope Community Programs is a specialist provider of accommodation and in home community services (i.e. Attendant Care) to individuals with Acquired Brain Injury, other disabilities and those leaving hospital and requiring extra support at home.
We are accredited by the Australian Council of Healthcare Standards ensuring quality standards are met. Accommodation programs are provided to enable clients to live as independently as possible, maintaining their activity in the community. Care support is provided by qualified and trained Community Program Support Workers.
Community Accommodation provides long term, short term, transitional and respite options in metropolitan Melbourne, country Victoria and Darwin, Northern Territory.
Fees
Residential Care Costs are funded by the Transport Accident Commission or other applicable funding bodies, and vary depending on the level of support provided in the facility. This funding is arranged and approved prior to admission.
Clients living costs are charged at $34.06 per day. This fee includes rent, utilities and food.
Attendant Care services are provided in the person’s home in metropolitan Melbourne, country Victoria, specifically Geelong, Bendigo and Shepparton and Darwin, Northern Territory.
Our Post Hospital Care program provides a range of services (e.g. help with showering, shopping, meal preparation) upon discharge from hospital to ensure the successful transition to home.
