Visitor information
Free car parking is available in the visitors’ car park, which is situated onsite. Parking in the streets surrounding Tweed Day Surgery is limited to two hours from 8.00am to5.00pm. You should not use public transport for your journey home after your procedure. Reception is able to book or call a taxi if required.
When collecting a patient after a procedure, our receptionist will call the Recovery Room to check on the progress of the patient and their expected discharge time.
Visiting hours
Visiting patients in the Recovery Room is not encouraged to maintain patient privacy and comfort. If a patient is required to stay in the Recovery Room for an extended period, visitors may be allowed at the discretion of the Recovery Room Nurse. Only one visitor at a time will be allowed.
Visitors may be required to follow certain procedures when entering the Recovery Room or Operating Theatre Suite. The nursing staff will provide specific instructions for visiting these patients.
