Visitor information

Free onsite car parking is available to visitors in the car park situated at the front of the hospital.  Regular bus services operate along Mains Road, Sunnybank (approximately two minutes’ walk to the hospital).  Timetables and route details are available at reception.  Reception is also able to book or call a taxi if required.

 

Visiting hours

To accommodate family and friends, visiting hours in the general wards extend from 10.00am to 8.00pm daily.

Maternity visiting hours are from 10.30am to 12.30pm then 3.00pm to 8.00pm.  Partners may visit at anytime.

Rehabilitation visiting hours are from 12.00noon to 1.00pm then 3.30pm to 8.00pm.  On weekends and Public Holidays visiting hours extend from 10.00am to 8.00pm.

Visits to the Intensive Care Unit are by arrangement with nursing staff.

If you cannot visit during these times, please contact the patient’s nurse to discuss alternatives.

Remember to switch off your mobile phone prior to entry into the hospital, as it may interfere with sensitive biomedical equipment used for patient care.  Smoking is not allowed inside or within four metres of the building’s exterior.
