Accreditation

Brisbane Private Hospital is a fully accredited member of the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) who work with us in establishing standards and and procedures, which underpin our primary goal to provide the best quality of care and service.

Brisbane Private Hospital received accreditation in 2007, and an unexpected short notice  ACHS survey in January 2009, which received a satsifactory report.

The next scheduled ACHS survey is in 2009.

Quality improvement projects include:

1.       The formation of a Quality and Safety Support Services Team which consists of a Quality and Support officer, Work Place Health and Safety , Risk Management/Quality,  Infection Control  and Education personnel.

2.       The appointment of an Episode Management and Discharge Planner

3.       Major revision and upgrade of client compliment/complaints booklet
