Mental Health ServicesHealthscope is the largest operator of private inpatient mental health facilities in Australia with 14 hospitals providing care for thousands of patients each year. Healthscope’s Mental Health Hospitals provide people from across Australia and overseas with effective treatment for mental health issues and for drug and alcohol abuse. Are you struggling? Our Programs: Treatment Options:
Healthscope mental health hospitals offer evidence based therapeutic programs for people requiring treatment for a mental health problem, both on an inpatient or day patient basis. Our treatment programs offer individualised care to support patients returning to an active and healthy life in their own communities. An appropriate treatment option can be decided by you in consultation with your doctor.
Inpatient Programs are generally two to three weeks in duration but the length of stay is tailored to the patient’s condition and also in collaboration with the admitting psychiatrist. The programs vary from individualised counselling to group therapy, group and individual psychotherapy, dialectical behavioural therapy and skills development.
Day Programs offer treatment through evidence based group sessions, facilitated by qualified multidisciplinary mental health professionals. Some are offered during business hours and others are offered in the evening. Programs are designed for individuals diagnosed with a range of mental health issues and are available for individuals to attend when required. The programs assist clients with:
