The Perth Breast Clinic, situated in the Mount Medical Centre, 146 Mounts Bay Road, is operated by breast physicians who are doctors with an interest and expertise in diseases of the breast. The Clinic offers co-ordinated assessment of a new breast symptom, breast screening and counselling for high risk patients, and ongoing follow-up after breast cancer treatment. 

 

The breast physicians working at the Perth Breast Clinic are members of a multi-disciplinary team of doctors at the Mount Medical Centre. Other members of the team include the breast radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, oncologists, radiotherapists, nuclear medicine specialists, breast care nurses and physiotherapists.   The team members regularly meet and work together with the aim of providing optimum co-ordinated specialist breast care. 

 

At Perth Breast Clinic, we also recognise that the discovery of a breast symptom often produces much anxiety, and a caring and supportive environment is provided. Sensitive counselling and appropriate specialist referral is organised if breast cancer is diagnosed.
