Local Affiliations

Newcastle Private Hospital seeks to take an active role in assisting peak organisations across the region to improve the education and skills of health professionals.

The hospital maintains a working relationship with major Hunter health groups, including Hunter New England Local Health District, the University of Newcastle, the Hunter Medical Research Institute and Hunter Postgraduate Medical Institute.

Newcastle Private Hospital also fosters a very successful working relationship with the University Of Newcastle Faculty Of Health for both Nursing and Allied Health undergraduates, the Nursing Faculty of the University of New England, and TAFE NSW Hunter Institute.

Through these relationships we are in a position to identify areas of need and respond by making new services available to meet the needs of the community.
