Cotham Private Hospital is an acute medical and surgical facility recognised for providing high quality and patient-focused care.  We offer a wide range of specialist surgical services.  In addition to our wide range of on-site facilities, we provide a number of support services including radiology, pathology, pharmacy, social worker, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, stomal therapy and dietary advice.

We have fully equipped operating theatre suites, a high dependency unit and a day surgery unit.  Our hospital offers both private and shared-room accommodation.  Most rooms have an ensuite and all beds are equipped with a private telephone and television.  A lounge area is situated on the first floor of the hospital, providing an ideal place for your visiting family and friends.

Among the specialist services offered at Cotham Private Hospital include our cardiology services (we offer on-site cardiac consultations, echo and stress testing) while our Day Procedure Unit and Endoscopy Unit provides a warm, welcoming environment where our well educated and trained staff provide prompt and professional nursing care at all times to day patients and their families during their short stay.

Cotham Private Hospital staff are especially proud of our Lithotripsy Suite.  Lithotripsy, or commonly known as ESWL, is the treatment of kidney stones.  Cotham Private Hospital is the only Private Hospital to have a dedicated Lithotripsy Unit.  During treatment, between 1500 and 3000 shockwaves pass safely through body tissue to focus on the renal stone which is disintegrated into sand like particles.
