Visitor information
Knox Private Hospital provides parking for patients and visitors 24 hours a day. There are two main parking areas, which can be entered from either Boronia Road or the Mountain Highway entrances. Both car parks have spaces designated for disabled drivers and DVA patients.
Patients can send and receive mail and faxes. Mail received after patients leave hospital will be forwarded onto their home address.
Visiting hours
We believe the support of family and friends is an important part of the recovery process and we welcome visitors at the times listed below:
| General wards: | 11.00am to 12noon and 4.00pm to 8.00pm |
| Paediatrics: | 11.00am to 12noon and 4.00pm to 8.00pm (parents are welcome at all times) |
| Risby Maternity Unit: | 4.00pm to 5.00pm and 6.30pm to 8.00pm (partners and siblings are welcome at all times; except during rest period between 1.00pm to 3.00pm) |
| Critical Care Unit: | 24-hour access for immediate family in consultation with the nurse in charge |
To aid recovery, the hospital has designated a strict rest period for all areas between 1.00pm to 3.00pm.
We request that all children be accompanied by an adult at all times.
