Your stay with us

Your doctor will arrange admission to Knox Private Hospital.  You will be given an admission form to be completed and returned to the hospital as soon as possible (at least 48 hours prior to your admission).

The staff of our pre-admission clinic will contact you prior to your day of admission (either by phone or they may request that you make a brief visit to the hospital at a mutually convenient time).  They will let you know what time to arrive and what items to bring with you.  They will be able to answer any questions or address any concerns that you may have about your stay with us.  On arrival, please visit our main reception staff.

Discharge time is from 9.00am to 9.30am.  Patients are asked to please make arrangements with their carers to come and collect them during this time.  Alternately, reception staff can arrange a taxi if required.

We constantly measure our patients’ satisfaction in regard to the care and services they receive, and we seek ways to improve how we meet their expectations.  As a patient or former patient, you may be asked to respond to a questionnaire designed to gauge your level of satisfaction with our hospital facilities or services.  We hope you will take the few minutes required to complete the survey.  Your comments are important to us.
