Visiting hours

Family and friends are welcome to visit from the following times:

Maternity Unit: 3 - 5pm & 7 - 8pm  - Closed between 1 - 3pm
Mother Baby Unit:  3 - 8pm - Closed between 1 - 3pm
West Ward:  2 - 8pm
East Ward:  4.30 - 8pm weekdays & 2.30 - 8pm weekends

Visiting outside of these hours requires permission from hospital management. Please contact the Director of Nursing (during office hours) or the Nursing Supervisor (after hours) to obtain permission.

There is no formal rest period for patients, however we do strongly encourage patients to rest at certain points in the day



 

Car Parking

Patient and visitor car parking is available at the front of the main building. We ask you to refrain from parking in the designated doctor’s, ambulance and no parking zones.

Car Parking Charges are as follows:
0 - 1.5 hours                        Free
1.5 - 2.5 hours                     $5.00
2.5 hours plus                     $7.00
Maximum Daily Charge     $7.00
Lost Ticket                            $7.00

Veterans Affairs patients have designated parking available close to the front entrance.

No responsibility will be accepted for cars stolen or damaged in the public car park. Please ensure no valuables are visible inside the car (lock valuables in the boot).
 

Northpark café

The Café is located adjacent to the hospital’s main foyer. It offers light meals, snacks and refreshments. Newspapers, cards and small gifts are also available for purchase. Everyone is welcome.

Opening Hours are:
Monday – Friday 9am – 8pm
Saturday 12pm – 8pm
Closed Sunday and most public holidays
