Our amenities

The Geelong Clinic is a modern, recently built facility.  We have private and shared facilities with an ensuite in each room.  All our private and shared rooms have telephones and nurse call facilities.  Local calls are free of charge and mobile calls/STD calls can be made and are charged to your account.  Our excellent facilities include:

• Visitor and disabled parking
• Interpreters (available as required)

 A laundry is provided for patient use, comprising of a washing machine, dryer and ironing centre.  A clothes’ line is also provided for use during fine weather.  A selection of books has been gathered in our library and quiet areas are set aside for patients wishing to relax away from the ward areas. A public telephone is also available in the library.

Meals for patients are generally served in the dining room, unless otherwise indicated by your doctor.  A healthy and varied menu is offered.  Special dietary needs are catered for and can be arranged with nursing staff on admission.  The services of a dietician can also be arranged to help tailor specialised eating plans.  Arrangements can be made for a visitor to dine with you should the occasion arise, this can be organised in advance with nursing staff.
