Our amenities
John Fawkner Private Hospital has single and shared rooms and every effort is made to accommodate you in the room of your choice. If your preference is not available at the time of admission, your request will be met as soon as possible.
There is a phone next to every bed and local calls are free of charge and mobile calls/STD calls can be made using a phone card, which is available at the hospital kiosk. All telephones in the hospital have an ‘in-dial’ facility so that callers can dial in to your phone directly without having to go through the hospital's busy switchboard. A public phone is located in the hospital foyer.
Personal televisions are provided at each bedside with in-house movies at no further charge to our patients. Patients can send and receive mail and faxes. Mail received after you leave will be forwarded to your home address.
Hudson's Coffee is located in the foyer and offers a delicious range of coffees, cold drinks, fresh muffins, sandwiches and snacks. A hairdresser is available on request, and the hospital is able to provide interpreters on request.
John Fawkner Private Hospital is visited regularly by clergy from local churches and we have a small non-denominational chapel located in the hospital foyer.
