Accreditation

Parkwynd Private Hospital is accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (www.achs.org.au).  Following our most recent accreditation survey on August 12th and 13th 2008, we were pleased to receive commendations relating to: 

·       Comprehensive assessment of patient needs and identification of risk factors.

·       Patient information processes. 

·       Positive patient feedback regarding all aspects of service provision and care.

·       Follow up and evaluation of care outcomes.

·       Risk management system. 

·       Management of HR issues.

The survey team was impressed with the culture and commitment of management and staff to the accreditation process and improving the patient experience.

Parkwynd Private Hospital strives for continuous improvement in the quality of its services. We have developed and are continually reviewing our quality action plan to achieve this.  Some of the key projects include: 

·       Redevelopment of the rear storage areas of the hospital.

·       Policy and document control management.

·       Further Infection Control Coordinator support and establishment of resource networks.
