Our amenities

Parkwynd offers primarily ‘single’ rooms that are tastefully decorated and well equipped with en-suite bathrooms, TV, in-house video/DVD and telephone.  A patient lounge offers a peaceful environment for you and your family.  Every effort will be made to provide the accommodation requested at the time of admission, however, circumstances sometimes make this difficult and your request will be met as soon as the accommodation is available.

A vending machine is located in the hospital for patients and visitors access.  Telephones are available at each bedside.  Local calls may be made directly from your phone, while phone cards are available from reception for STD and mobile telephone calls.  Mobile phones can cause interference with some medical equipment, therefore the use of mobile phones in the hospital is not permitted.

Individual dietary needs are catered for and the menu offers you a variety of interesting dishes, prepared with flair to tempt the most discerning palate.

Smoking is not permitted in the hospital.  An area outside the hospital is available for those patients who are permitted to smoke.  In special circumstances, arrangements can be made with the nursing staff for valuables to be locked away for safekeeping.
