Patient fees

The National Capital Private Hospital is recognised by all major health funds that will reimburse all treatment costs depending on your level of coverage.  We can provide you with an estimate of hospital charges and outline the level of cover by your fund and any out-of-pocket expenses you may incur.  Prior approval is sought for compensable patients (i.e. Comcare, DOD, Third party and DVA).

For uninsured patients, private payment is also accepted.  For an estimate on the cost of your treatment speak with our bookings coordinator on (02) 6222 6601 who will happily assist you.  We realise hospital and related charges can sometimes be difficult to understand, so please ask for assistance as we are most happy to help you.

As a Department of Veterans’ Affairs Veteran Partnering hospital, you have access to our care, without the need for prior approval in most cases.  We also provide help and support through our Veteran Liaison Officer.
