Accreditation

Tweed Day Surgery is accredited using ISO 9002. Following our most recent survey in March 2005, we received a positive result with the Survey Team commenting on the commitment of all staff to quality and the results show in the seamless delivery of care and the efficiency of the business operation.

Tweed Day Surgery strives for continuous improvement in the quality of its services.  We have developed and are continually reviewing our quality action plan to achieve this.  Some of the key projects include: 

• Medication safety
• Ease in the pre-admission process
• Improving communication in discharge planning.
