Accreditation

Pacific Private Hospital is accredited with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (www.achs.org.au).  Following our most recent survey in September 2006 we received a full four year accreditation and a confirmation of contintuation of the four year status at Periodic Review in September 2008.

Pacific Private Hospital strives for continuous improvement in the quality of its services.  We have developed and are continually reviewing our quality action plan to achieve this.  Some of the key projects include: 
 

• Development and implementation of a hospital wide VTE program
• Improving the graduate nursing program
• Revision of pre-admission information booklet including admission documentation and consent
• Improving computer data entry in the patient management system
