Patient fees

Sydney Southwest Private Hospital is recognised by all major health funds that will reimburse all treatment costs depending on your level of coverage.  We will provide you with an estimate of hospital charges and outline the level of cover by your fund and any out-of-pocket expenses you may incur.

Prior approval is sought for compensable patients (i.e. WorkCover or DVA).  Private payment is also accepted.  We realise hospital and related charges can sometimes be difficult to understand, so please ask for assistance, we are most happy to help you.

Payment can be made by EFTPOS, Bankcard, American Express, Visa or Mastercard, bank cheque, money order or cash.

As a Department of Veterans’ Affairs Partnering hospital, you have immediate access to our care, without the need for prior approval in most cases.  We also provide help and support through our Veteran Liaison Officer.
