Visiting hours

General Ward

To accommodate family and friends, visiting hours extend from 10.00am to 8.00pm daily.  Parents of patients aged under 15 may visit at any time and are welcome to stay overnight (A boarder fee applies).

After regular visiting hours, visitors must enter through the side door and check in with the security officer who can escort them to the patient’s room.

Visitors may be required to follow certain procedures, depending on the condition of the patient.  The nursing staff will provide specific instructions for visiting these patients.  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the hospital.

 

Day Surgery Unit

In the Day Surgery Unit, only one visitor per patient is permitted.  The carer/family of the day surgery patient is contacted by nursing staff approximately 30 minutes before the patient is due for discharge.  The families of patients staying overnight are directed to the patient’s allocated room.

 

Maternity Unit

In the Maternity Unit, visiting hours are 11.00am to 12noon and 3.00pm to 8.00pm.  No visitors are permitted from 12noon to 3.00pm.  Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

 

The Southwest Clinic

In the Southwest Clinic, visiting hours are Monday to Friday 12noon to 1.00pm and 3.30pm to 8.00pm, Saturday and Sunday 2.00pm to 8.00pm.
