Our amenities

Ringwood Private Hospital is a modern, recently built facility.  To meet the needs of all of our patients, a mix of private and shared rooms are available.  Every effort is made to accommodate you in the room of your choice.  If your preference is not available at the time of admission, your request will be recorded and allocated as soon as possible.  Room allocation takes into consideration the clinical needs of all our patients.

There is a phone next to every bed, each phone has a direct line.  Local calls are free. Long distance and mobile calls are charged to your account.  Please do not use mobile phones in the hospital as they can interfere with medical equipment.  Individual television, video and radio facilities are provided for all overnight patients.  Day patients have access to shared facilities.  Videos are run twice a day through our in-house video system.

Interpreters are available on request.  Visitors can dine with patients by ordering from the Menu Monitor.  The nearest shopping centre is Eastland, just one kilometre from Ringwood Private Hospital.  Even closer is a small shopping village at East Ringwood.  Ringwood Private Hospital is a smoke-free environment.  If you wish to smoke outside the hospital, you can take a stroll in our picturesque gardens.
