Accreditation

Sunnybank Private Hospital is a fully accredited of the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (www.achs.org.au) who work with us in establishing standards and procedures, which underpin our primary goal to provide the best quality of service and care.

In June 2008, Sunnybank Private Hospital underwent Organisational Wide Survey and achieved 40 Moderate Achievement Ratings. Our strong commitment to the provision of outstanding Customer Service and Clinical Care was reflected by an increase in the rating of 5 criteria from Moderate Achievement to Extensive Achievement. These EAs were all achieved in the areas of:

  • Patient Assessment
  • Delivery of Patient Care
  • The provision of a Safe Environment for both customers and staff 

Sunnybank Private Hospital  strives for continuous improvement in the quality of its services.  We have developed and are continually reviewing our quality action plan to achieve this.  Some of the key projects include:

  • The introduction of the Red Dot Mobility System to assist with patient assessment and staff awareness. This system acts as an early warning alert system to minimise the incidents of falls.
  • Revision of the patient admission process to ensure that all patients receive informed consent.
  • Revision of current menu to reflect the needs of all patients.
