As a DVA patient at Mount Hospital we provide you with a Veterans Liaison Officer to assist you.
We provide a 24-hour admitting service for patients experiencing Chest pain or respiratory problems, this does not require a referral from your doctor.
Planning your admission to hospital also requires planning your discharge home.
Our Better Discharge Planning Program provides support for you after your discharge from hospital.
We also ensure you have all your medications and arrange doctors appointments for you, we can also liaise with DVA on your behalf.
Mount Hospital provides a Pre Admission Clinic service that enables you to come in and see a nurse prior to you admission, you can discuss your surgery and any concerns you may have.
