Hobart Private Hospital offers single and shared rooms. Our single rooms are modern and well equipped, and include a separate en-suite bathroom, television and a telephone at each bedside. Newspapers may be purchased daily. Patients are given a choice of meals, and we are happy to cater for any special needs.
Shared rooms also have a bathroom, while televisions and telephones are also provided. You can also leave any outgoing mail with the ward clerk on each floor for postage. Incoming mail will be delivered to inpatients each day.
For admission to the Hobart Private Hospital, please contact the Patient Services Centre on 1800 033 480 (freecall) from 7.00am - 8.00pm on Monday to Friday. Prior to joining us, you need to confirm your admission with the Patient Services Centre and obtain information about arrival, fasting and any other requirements.
Discharge time is 10.00am, patients should present to reception on discharge to finalise any outstanding accounts and sign any documentation before leaving the hospital.
Hobart Private has a smoke free policy, meaning no staff or patients may smoke on the hospital site.
