Accreditation

Campbelltown Private Hospital has been assessed and registered as complying with the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001: 2000 and Core Standards for Safety and Quality in Healthcare.

Campbelltown Private Hospital is an accredited Medical Imaging Service having achieved accreditation from Quality in Practice Pty Ltd (QIP) against the Diagnostic Imaging standards for practices set by the Department of Health and Ageing. The accredited modalities include Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound.

A 66-bed hospital located in the historic Macarthur region of South West Sydney currently provides acute Medical/Surgical and Rehabilitation services. The 34-bed Rehabilitation Unit was commissioned March 2009 and is fully operational providing both inpatient services and a well-developed Day Therapy Program.  A 26-bed inpatient Mental Health Unit, coupled with day program mental health services, is scheduled to open mid-May 2009.

Campbelltown Private Hospital strives for continuous improvement in the quality of its services. We have developed and are continually reviewing our quality management plan to achieve this goal.

Key projects for 2009 include the efficient integration of increased surgical services, rehabilitation and mental health services into the current hospital structure meeting consumer and community expectations.
