At Hobart Private Hospital, our patients always come first. Our hospital has been providing high quality care since opening in 1999.  With state-of-the-art facilities and a dynamic team of staff, we aim to provide the best possible experience for each of our patients. We like to think of our patients and their families as ‘partners’ with our medical staff in delivering the highest possible levels of care.

Hobart Private Hospital is part of the nationwide Healthscope group of hospitals, which helps us to meet the needs of the community, provide the highest possible standard of care and create the opportunity for our staff to work in a professional and productive environment.  Although Hobart Private has complete access to all the best that a large network like Healthscope offers, we also provide a complete range of services unique to Hobart Private.

Our inpatient and day patient services include general medical and surgical services, obstetrics (including a special care nursery), cardiology services and a critical care unit. Hobart Private Hospital also has an emergency facility, a large operating theatre suite and day surgery facilities.
